The miswak, along with other types of chewing sticks, is thought to be the first form of dental hygiene ever recorded. It is also widely used in the Middle East, North Africa, and Central and Southeast Asia, and is considered the ancient world’s best-kept secret.

The miswak is called “sunnah” in Islamic cultures, referring to the prophet Mohammad’s (PBUH) everyday activity, which he prescribed as part of a daily health routine.

A HERBAL REMEDY WITH NATURAL INGREDIENTS.

USE THE MISWAK IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:

PEEL: Remove about 1 cm of the miswak’s outer layer to reveal the inner bristles.

SEPARATE: Soften the bristles of the miswak by chewing on the tip. You can also separate them with your thumb.

BRUSH: Brush your teeth in a circular motion while holding the miswak perpendicular to your mouth. Allow the bristles to get between the gaps in your teeth for a good flossing experience.

CUT: When the tip of your miswak becomes dry, cut it off with a knife. When you’re ready to use it again, repeat the first step. Once a day, we recommend cutting the tip off.
